The Sunday Post (1) + Stacking the Shelves (3)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on the blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

So I have a lot of ground to cover in my first ever "Sunday Post", including a giveaway, my schedule for the next week, a combined Stacking the Shelves, and much more. My news will be in bullet points, because it's too hard to put everything in proper paragraph form (that's what school if for).

Loving the Language of Literacy News:
  • The first thing that seems pretty obvious (this is just my opinion, you don't have to agree) is that I am doing Sunday Posts and combining Stacking the Shelves with it. I bet you never guessed that.
  • I had a pretty bad week, and did not get much blogging done because of school exams and things like that. The bad news is that the same thing is going to happen next week. The good news is that I am going to get 4 reviews up next week, but all memes will be halted just for next week.
  • Discussion Thursday on both my blog and Jayne @ Fiction_TheNewReality will resume on the February 7, 2014. Jayne has exams and #NewYearNewBooks going on (you should really check out the month of giveaways and other fun stuff). I have being a teenage girl going on (I know right, so hard) with some drama along with trying to maintain a 4.0 GPA for my nit picky teachers.
  • I am completely swamped with blog tour books to read and review (full list below) so until I have read all of those, I am limiting myself to six books at a time from the library, the horror.
  • I will be doing the Winter 2014 Mini Bloggiesta
  • I am going to get back to "Feature and Follow Friday", something I ditched after one post, but no worries those will come back, maybe in March because blog tour posts have to be at the top.
  • As previously stated (don't ask me why I'm using another bullet point) "Stacking the Shelves" will now be combined with the "Sunday Post" so it will be a weekly thing now.

Milestones {Disclaimer- this is not me trying to brag very far from it, I'm just trying to give recognition to the wonderful people that got me this far}:
Twitter: I have over 375 followers, I remember when I had 12 and was like "why are these people wanting to read what I have to say?"
Bloglovin: I reached 30 followers! You cannot imagine how I felt when I had one, but 30 is unbelievable. I am going to do a giveaway at my six month anniversary or 100 followers, whatever comes first, and you can be sure it's going to be huge, like totes (disregard those last two words, I'm not a valley girl).

Current Giveaway(s):

Stacking the Shelves (3)

For those of you that don't know "Stacking the Shelves" is when you list the books you've added to the shelves,virtual, physical, or whatever shape or form you get them. I know some people post them once a month, once a week, it varies. I am now going to be combining "Stacking the Shelves" with the "Sunday Post" because it is so much a personal preference about when and what you post "Stacking the Shelves" with. So now that I am doing this meme once a week, you will probably see nothing but library books because originally, I only did "Stacking the Shelves" as an every-time-I-go-to-the-library thing. Now I haven't done a stacking the shelves since 2013, so this is a huge haul full of everything I have received or borrowed since the 24th of December, almost an entire month. As people may know, “Stacking the Shelves” posts are hosted by “Tynga's Reviews”
{Disclaimer: I am in no means trying to brag about what I got, and merely shared this post for the benefit of my followers seeing what I so generously received, and as a favor to the lovely people that sent me things}

Special Thanks to/Giveaway Swag:

-An extremely special thanks to Jenny Kaczorowski the author of "The Art of Falling" for feeding my serious sugar addiction. I recieved postcards, stickers, buttons, and most importantly, a candy cane shaped container with skittles.

-I also want to thank Courtney Stevens whose debut novel "Faking Normal" comes out on the 25th of February, which I am very excited about because the plot sounds glorious. I received a lovely handwritten note, postcards, and a cure handmade ornament.

Thank you for reading, and comment down below anything you think I should add to the blog because I am still very new to this whole thing, and any advice or help would be much appreciated.
